Some remarks on an 18th century text and its fragmentary modern edition – Pildele filosofești [Philosophical Parables] (1713)

In this article I will approach and try to clarify an unusual spelling (sumparao) which occurs in a text from the beginning of 18th century, attributed Antim Ivireanul. It is question Romanian translation, made after intermediate Greek version, distant French original. At same time, point out some questionable (or more than questionable) spellings, fragmentary modern edition respective text, published by Alexandru Duțu 1968 (ciocotințește for ciocotnițește; ciocotinția ciocotniția; împărteșuțează împărteșugează; roscoasă roscoașă; scutelește șutelește). also unusual, rare lexical units, them representing antedatings compared oldest attestations registered reference works field (deletnicie; însoțime; răsfățăciune; soțiime). so doing, propose certain semantic and/or etymological clarifications.
